AMB 2019 BEST MOMENTS

This was way back in February 2019. But still worth checking out. I was invited to Anugerah Musik Bali—Bali's own version of Grammy Awards—to read two of the nominations (together with Leanna Rachel). Check out the video, some kind of highlights, best moments from the event.

The event itself, it’s pretty interesting, I’d say Bali is the first and so far the only province in Indonesia that organises its own music award. The organiser, Adnyana and co., already announced that they’d have the second AMB next year in February. Great job, buddies!

Often tagged as this country’s version of Malcolm McLaren—or as Rolling Stone Indonesia put it ‘the grand master of music propaganda’—a name based on his successes when managing Bali’s two favourite bands, Superman Is Dead and Navicula, both who have become two of the nation’s biggest rock bands.
