Ugh, I love this song so much: “All My Little Words” by The Magnetic Fields. Perfect for a melancholy Sunday (oh, hello you, hangover).
I think the combination of cheesy and real is what makes this track from 69 Love Songs´ charming (those infectious guitar licks, too!), and this comment on Song Meanings says it all: “I feel like the most important line in the song is ‘it is your wings that make you beautiful.’ It isn’t just that it can’t work out; it can’t work out for the very reasons he is in love.”
I don’t know who those duos are. I find both—can I say “cute”?. Hope you enjoy these covers as much as I do!
