MANJÂ: LET IT GO

The next big thing from Bali: MANJÂ. Here they cover James Bay’s “Let It Go” and Mark, Nick, and James do it so very well. A top-notch atmospheric art pop reinterpretation. Hush hush, they'll release their debut single in a few weeks!

Check out how magnificent MANJÂ are. Here they cover James Bay’s “Let It Go”. I don’t know who James Bay is and I’ve never heard the song before (sorry, James, been too busy relistening to Jack White’s The Dead Weather), but I’d think you’ll totally agree Mark, Nick, and James do it so very well here. A top-notch atmospheric art pop reinterpretation.

Hush hush, in a few weeks they’ll release their debut single and they’ll perform it live at Rumah Sanur. They’ll share the stage with a few other kickass young artists under Pohon Tua Creatorium record label.

Watch out Indonesia, MANJÂ comin’ atcha!

Rudolf Dethu

Music journalist, writer, radio DJ, socio-political activist, creative industry leader, and a qualified librarian, Rudolf Dethu is heavily under the influence of the punk rock philosophy. Often tagged as this country’s version of Malcolm McLaren—or as Rolling Stone Indonesia put it ‘the grand master of music propaganda’—a name based on his successes when managing Bali’s two favourite bands, Superman Is Dead and Navicula, both who have become two of the nation’s biggest rock bands.
