Peter Wolf turned 74 today. He was pretty popular here in Indonesia back in the early 80s via “Centerfold”, “Freeze-Frame” and “Love Stinks” with the band he fronted, the J. Geils Band.

On this date, 41 years ago, Lene Lovich re-released “Lucky Number”. Originally released as a B-side for Lovich’s cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now”, the song was re-released on 26 January 1979 as an A-side and became the lead single of her debut studio album Stateless. "Lucky Number" became a defining song and made her a leading figure of the new wave genre.

Thomas Dolby turned 61 today. The English musician, producer, entrepreneur and teacher; came to prominence in the 1980s, releasing hit singles including "She Blinded Me with Science" and "Hyperactive!".
