Rest in peace, Albert Aleandro Uderzo (25 April 1927 – 24 March 2020). Stay charismatix and many thanx for all your unix, inspirational comix boox.

________

Updated 27 March 2020: Thanks to Christophe Hennequin for the reminder: Abraracourcix is the village chief (such an impatient guy, but scared—well, respect—with his wife) and the singer-you-love-to-hate is Assurancetourix. I’m sorry, I got mixed up. I meant Assurancetourix, not Abraracourcix. Used to collect Asterix-Obelix comic books. But then gone, who knows where they are now.

Rudolf Dethu

Rudolf Dethu

Music journalist, writer, radio DJ, socio-political activist, creative industry leader, and a qualified librarian, Rudolf Dethu is heavily under the influence of the punk rock philosophy. Often tagged as this country’s version of Malcolm McLaren—or as Rolling Stone Indonesia put it ‘the grand master of music propaganda’—a name based on his successes when managing Bali’s two favourite bands, Superman Is Dead and Navicula, both who have become two of the nation’s biggest rock bands.
