SANUR SESH
A Freethinker Attaché

Host: Rudolf Dethu

Pretty stoked to finally have a chance to chat with the buzzworthy quirky duo, Kas & Ican – Gabber Modus Operandi, who’ll bring their signature Ponorogo’s Jathilan meets kitschypunky attitude to Primavera Sound in Barcelona next year in 2021 (on the same bill with Massive Attack, Gorillaz, DJ Shadow, Beck, The National, and other massive acts).

They’ll do a live set as well at Rumah Sanur after the discussion session, sharing decks with Rollfast. It’ll surely be a killer!

Live Noisetronic Set: GMO x Rolfast

Live at Rumah Sanur
Friday, 12 June 2020

Rudolf Dethu

Music journalist, writer, radio DJ, socio-political activist, creative industry leader, and a qualified librarian, Rudolf Dethu is heavily under the influence of the punk rock philosophy. Often tagged as this country’s version of Malcolm McLaren—or as Rolling Stone Indonesia put it ‘the grand master of music propaganda’—a name based on his successes when managing Bali’s two favourite bands, Superman Is Dead and Navicula, both who have become two of the nation’s biggest rock bands.
