Sunshine on Amanda and Friends

Almost at the same time, the other single, "Conversation" (featuring Imela Kei and Rayen), became a radio favorite when it hit the music charts. This coming October Amanda and Friends are scheduled to release their debut album temporarily titled The Journey Called A. Bisa jadi terinspirasi oleh sambutan hangat terhadap lagu “Sunshine” yang menjadi salah satu soundtrack di film Catatan Harian Si Boy, Amanda and Friends tergugah melanjutkan langkahnya. Wujud progresinya rencananya akan ditampilkan lewat perilisan album berjudul The Journey Called A pada Oktober 2011. Sejauh ini, pengerjaan album di studio rekaman sejatinya sudah beres. Tinggal menyelesaikan isu administratif saja.

Sosok utama di balik Amanda and Friends adalah Dinda Amanda. Kesehariannya adalah sebagai editor film dengan rasa suka yang membuncah terhadap musik R&B. Untuk merealisasikan kecintaannya pada genre tersebut Dinda lalu mengajak serta beberapa sejawat dekatnya untuk terlibat dalam sebuah projek yang dinamai “Amanda and Friends”. Para sahabatnya itu, Imela Kei (Ten2Five), Rayen (Pasto), Sashi (Drew), Yacko, Pandji Pragiwaksono, Teza (Idol), Yarra (Idol), diserahi tugas bersenandung. Sementara ia sendiri sebagai pemain di balik layar dan menjadi penulis lagu, pemain musik, komposer, music arranger, serta music director.

Selain telah menyodorkan “Sunshine” (featuring Sashi), Amanda and Friends pula sudah menggelindingkan teaser bertajuk “Conversation” (featuring Imela Kei dan Rayen) yang telah hilir mudik di berbagai media audio serta memperoleh sambutan baik dari para Music Director. Terbukti dengan raihan posisi terhormat di berbagai klasemen tembang di banyak stasiun radio di Nusantara.

Silakan bersabar menyambut kedatangan album perdana milik Amanda and Friends. Seraya menunggu, silakan tonton aksi mereka di YouTube dengan mengetik nama “Amanda and Friends”.
