Dave Mustaine turned 59th today.

I don’t think I need to explain much about who he is. He’s one of the most important figures in hard and heavy music, true wheels of steel, veteran ballbreaker, the original axeman of ‘tallica. The rest, you can just google it, you lazy mofo.

I consider myself lucky. I saw him with his band, Megadeth, when they played in Jakarta back in 2007.

The music video here via Maximiliano Dominguez, Megadeth performing live “Symphony of Destruction”, in Buenos Aires, 2005. The subtitle, quite disturbing, yeah. But look at the audience, magical excitement!
