No Coachella this year. But here’s the documentary. So good. Very well produced. It makes you realise that this festival is way historical.
Matter of fact, I was planning to go to this year’s Coachella especially to see the goth-rock guitar goddess, Anna Calvi. Wasn’t that interested to be at Coachella, honestly speaking. Coachella never really had that good impression in me. Shame on me, I’ve made decades-long wrong judgement about the festival. This documentary has totally changed my perspective about it. Hell yeah, I’ll make sure I’d be at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, next year for Coachella!
Another thing, who would’ve thought that there’s quite a strong connection between early concerts of Dead Kennedys & NWA with the Coachella organisers ….
