Domestic Groove: AIMEE SARAH

DOMESTIC GROOVE ~ Celeb’s Chosen Nine was once my bi-monthly column in The Beat (Jakarta) mag but now I move exclusively to this blog. Basically it’s an interview via e-mail which focuses on small, intimate, domestic stuff; what Indonesia’s public figures are really into.

DOMESTIC GROOVE ~ Celeb’s Chosen Nine tadinya adalah kolom khusus dwi-bulanan saya di majalah The Beat (Jakarta). Kini saya alihkan dan muat secara eksklusif di blog saya.

Domestic Groove: RICKY SIAHAAN

Domestic Groove: JASON TEDJASUKMANA

Am really digging Deserve by Weed, a Vancouver-based band, and the new Mark Lanegan anthology, which has 12 unreleased tracks and all are pretty damn good. Locally, I really like the new Marsh Kids and Vague cds.

Domestic Groove: ARIE DAGIENKZ

You may or may not be aware, but I’m actually a metalhead—I’m metal to the core! So it goes without saying that metal music is my daily soundtrack. Lamb of God, Sepultura, you name it.

Domestic Groove: MARCEL THEE

There’s a couple of local bands I’ve really been enjoying, such as Jirapah, Vague, and Polka Wars.

Domestic Groove: ADRIAN ADIOETOMO

Lately I’ve been struck-dumb whenever I’m asked this question but then I realise that it’s because I don’t actually listen to music anymore.
